Description

No. 28 High Street is a house that has two distinct building periods. It is timber framed, rendered, and has a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are two horizontal sliding sash windows. The ground floor features one modern window in the original opening, along with an adjacent doorway that has a 19th-century boarded door. The 19th-century section of the house is partly brick, rendered, and also has a pantiled roof with a grey brick ridge stack. This section is also two storeys tall, with one recessed horizontal sliding sash window on the first floor and a modern casement window on the ground floor.
