Description

No. 26 High Street is a house that dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. The crosswing is from the 18th century and features a timber frame with plaster rendering and a steeply pitched pantiled roof. The building is a single bay and has two storeys, with modern casements located at the gable end. The 19th-century section to the east is constructed of brick, rendered, and also has a pantiled roof. There is a shared grey brick ridge stack. This part of the house has two storeys, each with one late 20th-century casement window. A doorway is located in the side wall of the crosswing. The building is included for its group value.
