Description

No. 72 High Street is an 18th-century house with a partly demolished rear wing. It features a timber-framed structure with plaster and a painted brick plinth. The roof is plain tiled and hipped to the left, with a stack on the right and another at the rear. The house is two storeys and has an L-shaped plan, with the main entrance facing east. There is a canted bay window with a flat roof and hung sashes, and a four-panelled door to the right. The north elevation includes one fixed three-light window and three horizontal sliding sash windows.
