Description

This is a tower mill, dating to around 1840 and later dated J.P./W.P. 1854 on a brick arch over the former main door. The mill is constructed of tarred gault brick, with a tapering tower of four storeys and no cap. It has cast iron windows with glazing bars arranged in a fan shape to round headed arches on each floor. The mill originally had floor sails and a gallery, and was in use until 1922. A single-storey extension was added, and the mill was converted to domestic use around 1935.
