Description

Chapel Cottage, formerly the manse, dates from around 1830. The house is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof and two rear chimney stacks. It is two storeys high. The front elevation features a central six-panelled door, and two ground floor windows with sixteen panes in sash windows, set within cambered brick arches. There are two similar first floor windows, and a central blind window above. The building is documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments' West Cambs volume, page 86, and in E. Evans’s 1981 publication, The Church and Village of Elsworth.
