Description

This chest tomb, dated 1798, is located approximately 16 meters south of the east end of the south aisle of St. Parish Church in Guilden Morden. It is made of limestone and features a moulded plinth with rectangular raised plaques on each face. One of the plaques is inscribed in black lettering with the name 'M. LADD ..... SELL', who was late of Bassingbourn in the County of Cambridge and died in 1798. The tomb is topped with a flat cover that has moulded edges.
