Description

These adjoining cottages date from the 17th to 18th century. They were likely originally timber-framed, but are now rendered. The substantial wall thickness suggests a construction method using clunch (a local limestone) with a long straw thatched roof and a central ridge stack. The cottages are one storey high with an attic space, featuring four dormers. There are two doorways and one window with a flush frame and twelve panes. The interior has not been inspected.
