There is a red brick end stack on the left-hand side, a 17th-century ridge stack, and a 20th-century red brick ridge stack on the right. The original cottage is one storey and has attics, while the brick extension is two storeys high. The original cottage features a lobby entry and a lower range to the right, connected to the two-storey brick extension on the left. It has three ground-floor, three-light horizontal sliding sash windows with boarded shutters, a boarded door to the left (number 7), a four-panelled door in the lobby entry position, and a four-panelled door to the right (number 9). Three horizontal sliding sash dormer windows are set into the roof, with plain tiles below. The 20th-century extension includes paired hung sash windows at ground floor, a bay window, and a first-floor window.
