Description

K6 telephone kiosk. Designed 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Cast iron, painted red. Kiosk of square plan with domed roof. Unperforated crown to top panel above opaque glazed narrow rectangular panels marked `TELEPHONE'. Margin glazing to windows and door.

An intact kiosk set opposite Histon Baptist Church and Sunday School (Grade II), adjacent to C17 to C19 houses and cottages, of which a representative group are listed, and adjacent to the listed war memorial.

The kiosk lies on the parish boundary, falling within the parishes of Histon and Impington.
