Description

Hillside Cottages is a pair of dwellings that date back to the 18th century. The cottages are constructed with a timber frame and are plastered, featuring a thatched roof. There are red brick stacks, one at the left end and another at the ridge near the center, both of which have had their upper courses rebuilt. The building stands two storeys high and has two 20th-century panelled doors, with the doorway on the right featuring a reeded wooden architrave. On the ground floor, there are three windows, including one horizontal sliding sash window with glazing bars, while the first floor has three horizontal sliding sash windows.
