Description

Lower House Farmhouse is a late 17th-century house, extended at the east end. It is timber-framed, with plaster rendering and a tiled roof, featuring end stacks. The west stack is constructed of red brick with visible offsets. The two-storey facade exhibits three first-floor windows, each with six panes in double-hung sashes. A central doorway is adorned with a 19th-century doorcase and a flat hood supported by console brackets. The building is described in the Victoria County History of Cambridgeshire, Volume VI, page 50.
