Description

No. 62 is a cottage located on the south-west side of High Street in Bourn, dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with roughcast render and a plastered plinth. The cottage has a thatched roof and a red brick ridge stack. The gable faces the street, and the building consists of one storey and an attic, with a single-storey flat-roofed extension added in the 20th century on the main east-facing elevation. The entrance is located in this extension. There are two ground floor casement windows and a pair of casement dormer windows. Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered ceiling beams and two sealed inglenook hearths.
