Description

Nos 21 and 23 High Street is a house dating from around 1700, with 19th century additions. It features a timber-frame structure with rough cast render and painted brick foundations, topped by a half hipped thatched roof with a rebuilt red brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys and follows a two unit lobby entry plan. The entrance includes a half glazed panelled door with a wooden canopy supported by shaped brackets. There are four 20th century casement windows, with two on each floor level. The house was converted into a bakery in 1870.
