Description

The Maltings buildings, located immediately south of Malsters Cottage, date from the 17th century and later. They are constructed with a timber frame and are plaster rendered, featuring a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof at two levels. The structure is a long single range, primarily one storey with an attic, except for the central section above the maltings pit, which is two storeys high. Inside, the maltings pit is situated in the central part, and there are arch braces supporting the tie beams.
