Description

High Street Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 20th-century repairs and renovations. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof and features an axial red brick ridge stack with a string course. The building has two storeys and displays cambered arches over a range of three cross frame casements. There is a brick plat band between the storeys. The ground floor has three larger openings with similar arches made of red and burnt pattern brickwork, each containing three-light casements. The baffle entry doorway has a wooden doorcase with a plain frieze and a narrow hood, leading to a six flush panelled door. The end walls are made of common brickwork, and the southeast upper gable has framing.
