Description
A pair of cottages, now combined into a single dwelling, was built in the late 18th or early 19th century. The cottages have a timber frame, covered with roughcast rendering and a tiled roof. They feature a mansard roof with a shared grey brick ridge stack. The building is one storey high with an attic space. Each cottage has a dormer window containing a horizontal sliding sash. One doorway retains its original moulded architrave and has a door consisting of four flush panels. The other doorway has been blocked. Two small-pane casement windows, likely from the 20th century, are also present. The building is documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments' West Cambs. monograph (page 9, Plate 32).
