Description
This is a late 18th-century cottage situated on the north side of High Street, West Perry. The building is timber-framed, although most of the frame is now hidden behind modern rendering. Some of the original timber framing remains visible on the first floor. The cottage follows a three-unit and lobby-entry plan. The roof is covered in pantiles and features a ridge stack. The facade has three modern windows set flush with the eaves, and three similar windows on the ground floor. The original front door retains a moulded architrave. Inside, the framing reveals long, straight bracing to the slender wall framing.
