Description

The summer house, located northeast of Gaynes Hall, dates from the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is attached to the north side of a brick curtain wall that once enclosed a courtyard of the Hall. The summer house features wooden end walls and an open south side, topped with a hipped thatched roof. Each end wall includes one window with glazing bars that intersect at the head in two-centred arches. This structure is included for its group value with the Hall.
