Description

No. 45 High Street is a late 17th-century cottage that has undergone significant alterations. It is timber-framed and rough-cast rendered, featuring a three-unit plan. The roof is pantiled with a ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high and has three horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars that are flush with the eaves. The entrance is located in the central bay, which has a modern door and canopy. There is a larger horizontal sliding sash window in the centre bay of the ground floor. Inside, some original wall and floor framing is visible, along with a chamfered main beam.
