Description

Riverside is a mid-19th century house located on Mill Street in Houghton and Wyton. The building is two stories tall and has an L-shaped plan. It is constructed of gault brick and features slate roofs with internal stacks and diagonal shafts. The eaves are deep and boarded, adorned with decorative barge-boards. The windows are casement style, set in chamfered reveals and equipped with drip mouldings. There is a porch at the angle of the wing, which has half-glazed double doors framed by a two-centred chamfered arch.
