Description
The Mad Cat Public House is a mid-18th century cottage located on the south side of High Street in Pidley-cum-Fenton. It is constructed from gault brick and features a plain tiled mansard roof with a ridge stack. The building is one storey high with attics, and it has two dormers that contain modern casements. Flanking the entrance are two 19th century canted bays. To the right, there is a later addition, also made of gault brick, which has a plain tiled mansard roof, one dormer, and one hung sash window.
