Description

Hall Farm Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame that is rendered and sits on a rebuilt brick plinth. The roof is made of long straw thatch and has a half-hipped design with a ridge stack and two end stacks, all of which have been rebuilt above the ridge. The building has a single range plan consisting of four bays, with a lobby entry located on the southwest side. It is two storeys tall and has five small pane casement windows with metal frames on the first floor and four windows on the ground floor. Inside, the cottage includes abutting inglenooks and an exposed ceiling frame.
