Description
Nos 2 and 3 Graveley Road is an early 18th century cottage with origins dating back to the late 17th century. It is constructed of gault brick with red brick dressings and features a roof that combines plain tiles with modern tiles, set at a steep pitch. The building has a red brick dentil cornice and a chequered pattern above the band, along with tumbled parapet gable ends. There are end stacks and a ridge stack that has reduced engaged diagonal shafts. The cottage is one storey with attics and includes three flat-roof casement dormers. The windows have segmental headed arches and original shutters, with three hung sashes that have glazing bars. There are two modern doors, and a sealed doorway is located on the right side.
