Description
Illings Farmhouse is a late 17th century farmhouse that was originally one storey with attics but was raised to two storeys in the 19th century. It has an L-shaped plan and features soft red brick along with 19th century brick, with a rendered facade above the plinth. The roof has a low pitch and is covered with slate, featuring a ridge stack with a rendered central panel. The building has three modern casement windows on both floor levels, and there is a blind window above an architraved doorway. A projecting cornice and a panelled door are also present. Inside, the farmhouse retains original inglenook hearths and stop-chamfered beams.
