Description

The Baptist Chapel, dated 1861, is located on Broughton Causeway Road. It is constructed of yellow gault brick and features a gabled slate roof. The main gable facade has three recessed panels, with a central doorway that includes a stone keyblock and imposts supporting a round-headed arch. The entrance consists of double, two-panelled doors. On the side elevations, there is a range of three cast-iron windows set in round-headed arches, complete with glazing bars and original shutters. The chapel is also surrounded by original brick wall piers, iron railings, and a gate.
