Description

The precinct wall, dating back to the medieval period, is part of the former Abbey and runs along the eastern and southern sides of Church Green, the eastern and southern sides of Abbey Green, and the eastern side of Hollow Lane. It is constructed from coursed Barnack stone, with later upper courses made of rubble-stone and reused Barnack stone, some of which features moulding.
