Description

No. 53 on High Street is an early 19th century house with a symmetrical plan and two storeys. It is constructed of red brick and features a low pitch slate roof with end stacks. The first floor has three hung sash windows with glazing bars set in cambered arches, while the ground floor has two larger, similar windows. The entrance door is made up of eight moulded panels and is framed by a wooden architrave.
