Description

Jessamine House is an 18th-century building located on Buckden High Street. It features five bays, with an additional bay to the north that is a 19th-century addition or rebuild. The house is two storeys high and constructed of red brick, topped with plain tile roofs and an end stack to the south. It has a dentil brick eaves cornice and a rubbed brick band between the floors. The windows are hung sash with glazing bars, set beneath gauged brick arches. The central entrance boasts a six-panelled door with a round-headed fanlight and architrave, dating from the early 19th century. There is also a 19th-century back range, which is red brick and plain tiled.
