Description

The Laurels is a cottage that was originally a pair of cottages, built in the 18th century with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a roof made of Collyweston stone slates, with end brick stacks and a central square plan ridge stack. The building has one storey and an attic. The doorway on the left side has been blocked by an inserted window. There are two ground floor casement windows, one four-paned hung sash window, and two canted bay windows. To the right of the center, there is a glazed 20th-century panelled door. The cottage also has three flat-roofed dormer windows with casements.
