Description

This is an 18th-century range of buildings, with possible origins in the 17th century, located on High Street, Huntingdon. Numbers 4 and 4A are constructed of brick, while the remaining buildings (numbers 5 to 13) are rendered. The buildings are two stories high, with attics present in numbers 4, 4A, 5, 8 and 9. The window arrangement features one window each in numbers 5, 12, and 13, with the rest having two windows. Most windows are sash windows with glazing bars, although some have been replaced with modern windows. Numbers 6, 11, and 13 have shop windows. The doorways are mostly modern, with numbers 4 and 4A sharing a recessed arched entrance. The roofs are old tiles at varying levels, and numbers 4 and 4A have a mansard roof. Brick stacks are also present. Numbers 4A and 5 are noted in historical records.
