Description
156 High Street is a late 18th-century building of gault brick construction. It is two storeys and an attic in height, with a symmetrical facade of five windows, each featuring sash windows with glazing bars. The central doorway is framed by a stone Tuscan surround, and it has a six-panel door with a rectangular window above. The roof is a tiled mansard, topped with three flat-roofed dormers, and flanked by brick end stacks.
