Description

The Old Bridge Hotel is a late 18th-century building on Huntingdon High Street. It is constructed of gault brick and originally comprised two storeys and an attic, with a five-window facade featuring sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals. A modern porch has been added to the left, incorporating the original Adam-style doorway, which features half columns with acanthus capitals, a pediment, and a glass door. The roof is a tile gambrel with brick end stacks and five dormers; these dormers have alternating triangular and segmental pediments. An arched stair window is located at the rear. A rear wing features paired sash windows. A later wing extends to the left, forming part of the hotel, but is of local interest only.
