Description

This milestone, located approximately 100 yards east of Vicarage Farm, dates from 1754 to 1758. It is a square stone with a pyramidal top. The west face is inscribed with "1 mile to Kimbolton," while the east face reads "64 miles from London." The milestone is referenced in A. Cossons' "Northamptonshire Past and Present," published in 1950.
