Description

This building is a barn located approximately 30 metres east of Tudor Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of random bond brick and features a gabled corrugated iron roof. The barn has a four-bay plan, with a threshing bay positioned to the left of centre and a rear aisle. There is a segmental-arched entry to the threshing bay, along with ventilation slits. Inside, the barn includes jowled arcade posts, cranked double bracing to the tie beams, lateral bracing to the arcade plate, and corbelled wall posts with cranked double bracing to the tie beams. The roof is supported by an ashlar truss with butt purlins.
