Description
The granary, located approximately 25 metres south of Sibson Manor House, dates from the 18th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with freestone dressings and features roofs made of Collyweston stone slates. The building has parapet gables and stone steps on the left side of the northeast elevation that lead to a boarded door, as well as a sliding ground floor door that provides access to a workshop. Following a fire around 1920, the barn and granary were re-roofed with stone slates. This granary is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby manor house.
