Description

This is an 18th-century estate cottage, originally comprising two dwellings, now combined into one with an outshut at the rear. The building is timber-framed with rough-cast rendered walls and a plain tiled roof, featuring a stack at one end and one on the ridge. It extends over two storeys and has three windows on the ground floor. Two horizontal sliding sash windows are visible behind open boxing on the first floor. Two central doorways have been blocked; access is now via a 19th-century panelled door on the west side. The interior retains a one-bay and stairbay on the ground floor of each original cottage, showcasing slender timber framing.
