Description

The South African War Memorial, located on the south-west side of High Street in Huntingdon, was built around 1902. It features a base made of Portland stone, which includes an inscription. The memorial is supported by six columns that hold up a conical roof topped with a lantern. Inside the roof, there is a small bronze replica of Donatello's St George.
