Description
No. 14 Pinfold Lane is a building dated 1859, originally known as Manson's Almshouses. It is constructed of gault brick and is a single-storey structure featuring two windows with 2-light small paned casements. The central entrance has a panelled door set within a Gothic arch. The roof is hipped and covered with asbestos slate, and there is a brick stack. On the side elevation, there are two additional windows. Two plaques are present; one commemorates the original construction of the almshouses in 1738, while the other notes their rebuilding in 1859.
