Description

Mon Abri is a late 17th century or early 18th century cottage located on the west side of The Maltings in Alconbury. The building features a timber frame with plastering and is topped with a hipped thatched roof and a tall ridge stack. At the rear, there is a modern painted brick wing that has a thatched gable roof. The cottage is two storeys high, with an additional attic space. The south elevation includes a boarded door with an open wooden trellis porch and two modern three-light windows. On the east elevation, there are two 19th century horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars.
