Description
This building, located between numbers 71 and 72 on North Brink in Wisbech, was originally constructed as brewery offices around 1800, with later additions made to the first and second floors in the late 19th century. It is built from local brown brick and red 19th-century brick, featuring hipped slate roofs and a rear stack. The building stands three storeys tall with a symmetrical facade, topped by stone copings on a shallow parapet.
On the second floor, there are two twelve-pane recessed hung sash windows set in cambered, gauged brick arches, along with one central blind window. The first floor has a large central window shaped to a segmental arch, which is set in a recessed brick panel and flanked by two hung sash windows with cambered arches. A stone band runs along the first floor. The ground floor features two hung sash windows with glazing bars, shaped to round-headed brick arches, and a central three-panelled 19th-century door with flat arches.
Inside, the details are primarily from the late 19th century, including a fine 'board' room on the first floor.
