Description

The Baptist Chapel, dated 1856 on a stone plaque, is constructed from amber local brick and features a slate roof. The two-storey street facade has a panelled pedimented gable and is divided into three 'bays' by brick pilasters. It includes three hung sash gallery windows, which have margins of coloured glass and are shaped to round head arches made of red gauged bricks, with stone cills. The plain brick pilastered doorcase has a stone cornice and is flanked by two windows similar to those on the first floor.
