Description
Nos. 11 and 12 Church Terrace are early 19th century shops that have been converted into a bank. They have a design similar to other buildings in the Market Place, featuring rounded corner plans. The structure is made of painted local brown brick and has modern interlocking roof tiles, with a stack located on the right side. The building stands three storeys high and has four sections, or 'bays', facing Church Terrace. At the top, there is a parapet with stone coping.
On the second floor, there is one blind window and three nine-paned, recessed hung sash windows set in cambered gauged brick arches with stone cills. The first floor has one blind window and three twelve-paned hung sash windows in similar openings to those on the second floor. The ground floor has been modernized for bank use. This terrace is situated in a prominent location opposite the church and churchyard.
