Description
There are three headstones located south of the nave of the Church of St John the Baptist.
The first headstone commemorates Gerbow and dates from 1716. It is made of limestone and features two putti, one holding a palm and the other a trumpet, both of which are holding a crown. Below them are C-scrolls that enclose a circular panel with an inscription.
The second is a double headstone for members of the Gerbow family, dating to around 1711. It is similar in style to another headstone listed nearby.
The third headstone is for John Gerbow and dates from the early 18th century. It resembles the second headstone but has only a single arch.
