Description

Ashtree Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1830. It is constructed of brick, which is either painted or rendered, and features a low-pitched, hipped roof covered with slate and a single end stack. The building stands two storeys tall and has a range of three recessed, hung sash windows, each with sixteen panes, complete with sills and flat arches. The central doorway is adorned with a moulded architrave and reveals, featuring decorative boss enrichments at the corners. The entrance includes a six-panelled door topped by a rectangular fanlight.
