Description
This sculptural group depicts Samson and a Philistine and is located in the Arboretum at Anglesey Abbey. It dates from around 1700 and is probably the work of John Nost. The sculpture is made of stone and is based on an original created by Giovanni Bologna, which can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
