Description
The Figure of Father Time, located in the Herbaceous Gardens at Anglesey Abbey, is a statue likely dating from the early 18th century. It is a copy of a 16th-century work by Vittoria and stands on a later plinth made of stone. The figure depicts Father Time holding a scythe. The plinth features a sundial and the coat of arms of Sir Crisp Gascoyne, who was the Lord Mayor of London in 1752.
