Description

This pair of statues, known as griffins, dates from around 1730 and is located at the entry to the Dahlia Garden at Anglesey Abbey, on the north side of Quy Road in Lode. Made of stone, these reclining griffins are believed to have originated from Dresden and are thought to be connected with the Japanese Palace there.
