Description

Forge Cottage is an 18th century house built from buff coloured brick with red brick dressings and features a tiled roof with stopped end gables. This building is a typical example of vernacular architecture from that period. It has two storeys and a four-window range, primarily consisting of casements, with two horizontal sliding sashes that include glazing bars. A raised brick band is present between the storeys. The former No 11 has a six-panel door. The roof is tiled.
