Description

17 Lode Road is a cottage, likely dating from the 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure that is plaster rendered, topped with a thatched roof made of long straw. The cottage has an original ridge stack and is one storey high with an attic. There are two dormers and three horizontal sliding sash windows that were added in the 20th century. The main entry is now located in a small, single-storey addition to the right, which is also thatched.
