Description

Portugal Place nos. 9-14 comprise a group of early to mid-19th century buildings of group value. They are constructed of grey gault brick, although No. 9 has a cement-rendered facade and a modern shopfront. Several buildings have undergone minor alterations, most notably No. 14, which features a late 19th-century canted bay window. Each building is two storeys high with a basement, and has two windows arranged as sashes with glazing bars. They have panelled doors and cast-iron railings to the front steps. The roofs are slate.
